Cuetec cues, pool cue and Cuetec billiard cue sticks are a departure from the norm. They are the only pool cues that are made using a great deal of synthetics. For instance, the wooden shafts on these pool sticks are overlaid with a thin layer of fiberglass or graphite, which helps protect the cue shaft from warping or getting dinged. Cuetec Thunderbolt billiard cues feature a forearm of natural maple and a special shaft. Unlike a graphite or fiberglass-coated Cuetec shaft, the Thunderbolt is maple with a unique graphite truss rod that has been put into the center of the shaft. This rod prevents the shaft from warping, but drives harder with less deflection. These shafts are able to have a very long (20 inch!) taper because of the added strength of the graphite truss rod. These pool sticks features black and white Irish linen wraps, a 13mm layered pigskin tip and a stainless steel joint.
Cuetecs jump break cues have a three-piece design that allows you to first use it as a break cue, then remove the rear section of the butt for an ideal-length jump cue. The jump break joint is a quick-release type. These pool sticks feature a black Veltex or fine Irish linen wrap grip, stainless steel joints, and a warp-resistant, fiberglass-clad maple shaft.
